Mr Rakesh Nath
Barrister
8 Stone Buildings, Lincoln's Inn, London. WC2A 3N
Rakesh (Rikki) Nath was CWD's eventual choice for Counsel. Mr Nath is the husband of Sian Nath who was assisting Mr Coyle in case 2.
My only comment regarding Mr Nath's involvement in case 2 is that on the Particulars of Claim he completed it was stated that I hold myself out as 'a Painter & Decorator and Legal Adviser'. For the avoidance of doubt at no point have I ever held myself out as a Legal Adviser. It should be noted that Mr Coyle and his clients were well aware of my occupation when this form was completed and signed.
Although just a simple, poorly educated, working class Painter & Decorator I do feel that my job is actually far more useful to society than any connected to the legal profession. In fact, I feel quite insulted that anybody would attempt to tarnish my name by associating me with a profession that is, in my opinion, completely and utterly disingenuous. For the avoidance of doubt, I hold no legal qualifications and have never sought to do so.
Whatever the reasons for this 'innacuracy' I'm fairly sure it was not intended to have been to my advantage.
Previous Counsels instructed by CWD were:
Mr Ian Helme & Mr Timothy Atkinson both of One Brick Court, Temple, London EC4Y 9BY
Mr Nath was given an opportunity to respond to the information on this page prior to publication. No response was received from Mr Nath. |
